Highland Ave. Branched Drain system

• This site had a previous laundry greywater system and then added the permitted branched drain system included and actuator wired to a switch in the house to allow for remote operation of the 3-valve located in the crawlspace. The permit for this system took over 3 months for the permitting agency to process and was originally contested because the system sizing calculations for determining necessary infiltration area size did not include an irrigation water budget calculation for the fruit trees it was irrigating, which had to be brought to the attention of the permitting official that this is NOT a legal requirement, who then abandoned the argument and passed the permit.
