SPANISH QWEL GRAYWATER for Professionals Course in Spanish – June 2015

Role in the Project - WaterNow / Trust for Conservation Innovation was Lead on this project
Revised class content based on comments and suggestions from January class to better tailor the course to landscapers;
Translated all course curriculum into Spanish;
Conducted marketing and outreach;
Secured the classroom facility;
Hosted a 4-day course including one on-site hands-on day;
Secured and permitted a demonstration site;
Translated to Spanish tools to ease the permitting process
Proctored and graded the QWEL examination;
Conducted follow-up and tracking of graduates, connected homeowners interested in installing a graywater system with class graduates, arranged for site visits and site evaluations between homeowner, class graduates, and graywater instructor.
Hosted a review session and retest opportunity for those who did not receive a passing score on the first test.
