Water Conservation Demonstration Garden @ Sonoma County Fair

  • Alongside the crew of the Sustainable Sonoma exhibit, L2 Environmental, and the City of Santa Rosa, Water Use Efficiency (Debra Lane) we worked to design, install and present an interactive landscape water conservation demo and training exihibits as part of the Sonoma County Fair.  Elements included appropriate plant selection, turf removal and sheet mulching, sprinkler to drip conversion, rainwater catchment, greywater recycling and smart controlled irrigation. Special thanks to Miguel Elliot of Living Earth Structures for referring us for this project.
